A House Divided is a sound installation that explores the mechanisms and delivery of words. The work was written in dialogue with professional hypnotherapist Charles Montagu. The work investigates the quality of the voice as a transcending tool; each time we speak we are not just making a sound for others to hear, we are simultaneously invading another person’s body.
