2006

Make Your Own Shadow, was a collaborative installation made in the Holden Gallery at Manchester Metropolitan University. Each of us had a tent where we showed individual work in. The inside of my tent was darkened, there were a rotating mirror-ball, a small spotlight, mattress and a CD player with head phones. The sound was a symphony of raindrops that was recorded using a binaural technique inside the same tent, exactly in the same place where the viewer could listen to it through headphones. This created a credible illusion of rain falling on the tent that eventually grew into a storm before fading out.
